my work 👩🏻💻
On a mission to enhance user experience and build robust web applications, while continuously refining my skills and knowledge. Here's a summary of my work so far.
Mastercard
Senior Frontend Engineer, 2024 — now
At DynamicYield by Mastercard, I am currently focused on a large-scale effort to reorganize and improve the handling of data feeds within our platform.
To support this initiative, I am developing a new application using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and a focused internal design system. This app is designed to provide better visualization, management, and troubleshooting tools for data feeds, streamlining processes and improving efficiency for internal teams.
Previously, I worked on integrating various CMS platforms into our main dashboard, creating seamless workflows for installation, configuration, and content usage.
Throughout these projects, I have proactively identified and implemented improvements, optimizing our applications and processes.
Farfetch
Frontend Engineer, 2019 — 2024
My journey at Farfetch, a leading global platform for luxury fashion, was marked by innovation, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Starting with the loyalty programme, I developed a dynamic dashboard, sprinkled enticing elements across the portal, and built an engaging landing page-all using React and Emotion with robust testing via Jest and React Testing Library.
My success led me to the heart of Farfetch's operations: the product page. There, I ran impactful A/B tests, implemented precise tracking, and optimized performance, using a modern tech stack: TypeScript, React, Emotion, Apollo, and GraphQL.
I also played a key role in developing components for our design system, ensuring top-notch quality and consistency with Storyblok and Next.js for server-side testing.
Beyond coding, I mentored engineers, led high-level discussions, broke down complex projects and introduced new ideas and processes during engineering all-hands meetings.
7egend
Frontend Developer, 2017 — 2019
At 7egend, I played a key role in developing cutting-edge digital solutions for high-profile clients, translating designs into production-ready code.
One of my standout projects was the official website for FC Porto. Built from the ground up using React, Redux, and a REST API backend, I was primarily responsible for the events and ticket purchasing sections, along with numerous other pages.
In addition to web development, I also worked on a desktop application for Footlab using Electron and React. This application was designed to manage bookings, payments, scores, and other functionalities, providing an efficient and user-friendly interface for both staff and customers.
